mini-Camino

From Jo'burg:​



Take N3 to Villiers;  exit before 2nd tollgate (Wilge Plaza) onto R103/R26 towards Harrismith;  rt at cross-road after 1km;  left after 60km towards Vrede;  right after 14km (just before Vrede) to Memel (about 60kms);  just past Memel 2nd rt onto S17 (dirt road);  rt to Moorfield at sign at 28km.  Alternatively follow tarmac road from Memel to Newcastle and then as below.  Easily done in 4 hours. 

 ​from Newcastle:

leave town on Scott St towards Normandien, past the Ncandu School and the Chelmsford Dam turn-off, past a turning on your right marked Ncandu, then take the next right marked Muller's Pass (small red shop on corner).  12 Km of good dirt road up to the highest point, then Moorfield turn-off to your left after 200m.
